MOD is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. MOD collects information from our users at several different points on our website.

We may use your information to contact you and deliver information to you that, in some cases, are targeted to your interests, such as targeted banner advertisements, administrative notices, product offerings, and communications relevant to your use of the site.

Registration Information

In order to use this web site, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give his/her contact information (such as name and e-mail address).

This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which the user has expressed interest.

Your e-mail address is used to send you confirmations and updates about bids that have been placed on your auctions.

We give your e-mail address and contact information to the seller if you make a purchase. We also give your e-mail address and contact information to the winning bidder if you are the seller.

After you have logged in and registered, you can view and update your registration information from My Account at anytime. We use your login to identify you as a registered member of MOD.

You are responsible for all actions taken with your e-mail address and password, including fees. Therefore we do not recommend that you disclose your MOD password to any third parties. If you choose to share your e-mail address and password or your information with third parties to provide you additional services, you are responsible for all actions taken with your e-mail address and password and therefore you should review that third party's privacy policy.

If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personally identifiable information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately change your password on the "My Account" page.

Usage

If you choose to buy or sell on our site, we collect information about your buying and selling behavior. When you use the MOD site to buy an advertisement, the user must provide contact information and financial information. This information is used for contact purposes. If we have trouble with a transaction, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes his or her browser, the cookie simply terminates.

For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a user rejects the cookie, the user may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user will be limited in some areas of our site. Newsletter

If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for contact information such as business type, business name and e-mail address.

Surveys & Contests

From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

Suggest MOD to a Friend

You may not use the "Suggest MOD to a Friend" service or other e-mail forwarding services that we offer to send spam or otherwise send content that would violate our Terms of Service. We do not permanently store the e-mail messages or the e-mail addresses.

If you send an e-mail using the "Suggest MOD to a Friend" service to an e-mail address that is not registered in our community, we do not use that e-mail address for any purpose other than to send your e-mail. We do not rent or sell these e-mail addresses. We generally discard the e-mail addresses some time after they have been used to send your e-mail.

Security

This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

When our payment form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our payment form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to unlocked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Your Use of Other Users' Information

In order to facilitate interaction among all MOD community members, our service allows you limited access to other users' contact information. As a seller you have access to the e-mail address and other contact information of the buyer, and as a buyer you have access to the e-mail address and other contact information of the seller.

By entering into our Terms of Service, you agree that, with respect to other users' personally identifiable information that you obtain through the site or through an MOD-related communication or MOD-facilitated transaction, MOD hereby grants to you a license to use such information only for:

(a) MOD-related communications that are not unsolicited commercial messages,
(b) using services offered through MOD, and
(c) any other purpose that such user expressly agrees to after adequate disclosure of the purpose(s).

In all cases, you must give users an opportunity to remove themselves from your database and a chance to review what information you have collected about them. In addition, under no circumstances, except as defined in this Section, can you disclose personally identifiable information about another user to any third party without our consent and the consent of such other user after adequate disclosure. Note that law enforcement personnel and other rights holders are given different rights with respect to information they access. MOD and our users do not tolerate spam. Therefore, without limiting the foregoing, you are not licensed to add a MOD user, even a user who has purchased an advertisement from you or who sold an ad to you, to your mail list (e-mail or physical mail) without their express consent after adequate disclosure. Special Offers

We send all new members a welcoming e-mail to verify their e-mail address. Established members will occasionally receive information on latest news, advertisement purchase updates, services, special deals, and a newsletter.

Site and Service Updates

We also send the user site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to unsubscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via e-mail or phone.

Correction/Updating Personal Information

If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your zip code), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal data provided to us. This can be done at the users' My Account page or by e-mailing our Customer Support at customerservice@MOD.com.

Choice/Opt-out

Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials from our partners (us) may opt-out of receiving these communications by sending a reply e-mail and typing "unsubscribe" in the subject line in the e-mail or by e-mailing us at info@mediaondemand.my.

Users of our site are always notified when their information is being collected by any outside parties. We do this so our users can make an informed choice as to whether they should proceed with services that require an outside party or not.
